  • How 'Bout Them Cowboys!

I never thought they would win, much less the way they did, against New Orleans.

3 and 1. Tied with the Eagles for number one in the NFC East. So far, so good. Fingers crossed.

Now 4-1 after beating the Texans but Seattle @ 3-1 will be a tough one Sunday.
I never would have guessed the Boy's would have accomplished what they have so far this season

Maybe the planets will align just right and Dallas can pull out a win against Seattle. One thing is for sure, they do seem to play better against better teams. They have a tendency to lose against bad teams.

Used to be a huge Cowboys fan but lost all interest in them when the owner fired Tom Landry. It was time for a change I agree but I did not like the way Landry was treated. He was a legend and deserved better, but that is just my opinion!

I really don't have a lot of interest in professional sports anymore, a few players make them all look bad.

For me, firing Landy was just symptomatic of what killed my interest. The Cowboys were once a class act. Today, they're just well-paid thugs. Gone are the days when a player was expected to be part of a team, and held accountable as if their actions as an individual affected the entire team. Anyone remember Thomas "Hollywood" Henderson getting deactivated then fired for mugging for the camera as he teammates were losing? Landry ran that kind of team. Today, killing a teammate in a drunken car crash after partying at a strip club doesn't get a player released.
