    Stuffed Turkey Ride: Big Bend Nov. 28-30

    3rd annual stuffed turkey ride to big bend national park. leave Friday Nov. 28 (day after thanksgiving)

    Last year the houston/san antonio bunch arrived in fort stockton exactly the same time Friday around 2:30.

    This year we will camp out in the
    park friday and saturday night. some may want to get a hotel in Terlingua. It tends to get cold up in the Basin.

    Dfw group ksu 8am i30 and las vegas in Fort Worth. There is a gas station.

            Thought I'd give this one a bump, and see who is definitely going.

            I'll be there, and definitely not towing the trailer this time. I've got my one person tent/cot that folds up small enough to easily fit on the back seat, along with my new (to me, but it's used surplus military) modular sleep system bags to keep me warm if the temps get gold.

            Last year, the weather was just about perfect, and other than the one bike springing an oil leak, we had a great time.

                  This was a great ride! 1530 smiles in great weather with great friends! We rode every road in the park and the river road as well.
