  • Where Are The California Riders

I know there are quite a few of you out there and I have met and ridden with a few on occasion. Where is everyone? This state site needs some action of some type. What is going on lately?

I am riding to Tahoe Saturday for lunch, will be meeting some friends in Jackson. Anyone wants to join us, let me know. Hope the smoke isn't bad from the fires.

I wish I was closer but that is a bit far. I will however be riding up the west side of Tahoe in a couple of weeks on our way to Oregon. We are staying in Walker first night then up past Tahoe and over to Virginia City for lunch and then up to Susanville for the night. I hope the fires are under control for all of us.

          Riding? :D

Just wait until we begin chatting about our little adventure in a desert near you in a bit less than five months.

We are leaving in one week for our adventure up past Tahoe and up into Oregon and Crater Lake area. The weather is not so good next week but hopefully it blows through for our week up there. And yes, the desert trip is approaching.

Some weeks, that's the only time my girl gets to go out is if I take her to work. Last week was like that, thinking this week may be in a similar situation. Grrrrr....

I'm Steve. Was a new guy on other forum...now new guy here. New also to GL1800. Bought nice used 04 black and farkled it a bit.I'm in Costa Mesa, Orange County, CA. I ran into another GL rider here and we switched bikes so he could try my Windbender shield and I could see if his trans was as clunky as mine. Invaluable. Open to any meet-ups.

I'm in Costa Mesa as well. Maybe we can meet up and ride sometime. I'm out this weekend because I'm on call for work, but after that, I'm looking forward to getting out riding again.

                        Hi, g3.
I'm retired old fart and available most times (well, maybe not mornings). Was canyon squid and now slowed some. Still have SV650 though for THOSE days. Love to meet up sometime. Will try to pm my email.
