If they are 6 Ply you can try them and let us know - Bustec has updated their tire in 2013 after finding the Orginial mold from the previous MFG Plant that Closed - They have provided that to the "new" MFG since that time - After the Preston's sold the business in 2011 -The tire plant Closed that year as well and the replacement tires made after that date -were Not as good -
You may wish to contact Bustec replacement for tires the product has been updated. Or You can try the ones in your link and let us know how they hold up.

I always wondered why Bushtec didn't use a tire common to a small motorcycle or moped instead of a one that only fits their trailers?
When you consider the variance in camber as the suspension works though its range of travel, it would also seem than the rounded profile of a motorcycle tire would be better suited to the task.
The large diameter wheel was actually one of the things that attracted me to the Bustec when I was shopping around for a trailer, until I started reading about replacement tire availability on the various forums.

I guess it depends on how much usage the trailer gets as to how often you have to change tires. With four Harley's and each having a Bushtec hitch and currently looking for a Bushtec hitch for the Goldwing we use the trailer a lot. I would like to get a set of tires for the trailer just to have a spare set.
The same site sells the Kenda brand tire that Bushtec reportedly uses. The one listed has rounded edges, which I can see no reason they would not work. The ones sold by Bushtec are flat bottom tires, like other trailer tires. With the air suspension set properly, the tires will always be square to the road, with no need for the rounded edges. I did notice the ones you listed are half the cost of the Bushtec tires, and maybe $15-$19 less than the Kenda (IF my memory is working correctly!)
