If you have experience with the Falken ZIEX-ZE950 A/S tire, please share those experiences with the group. Of particular interest is how the tire handled during hard cornering. TIA.

I tried looking for anything that would point it to using dual compound rubber. I didn't see anything. On the manufacturer's site, it does say it has silica in its compound. Not sure if the 912's use it or not.
Here is a quote from that page:
"Using the Falken exclusive Dynamic Range Technology (DRT) in the all new silica tread compound and asymmetric tread design, the ZIEX ZE950 All Season Tire provides optimum levels of dry, wet, ice and snow grip as well as delivering the longest mileage of any Falken High Performance tires."
YW, good news about getting your oil burning problem worked on. Good luck. Hope it isn't off the road too long.
