I have a 2004 Honda GL1800 with the same problem. It won't stay on. I took a wide plastic wire tie and put it around the cluster from front to back. It solved my problem. LOL.

I have the 2004 Honda GL1800 and there are no holes on the sides except where the am/fm antenna and the cb antenna are mounted. They are oval shaped holes towards the front....

I don't own the Hannigan reverse trike, but I do now have a 2004 Honda GL1800 with the Motor Trike Prowler RT kit. I like it and the only problem I find is trying to make a U-turn...
