Anyone have one of the Tilting Works trike conversions? I'm really getting close to buying this for my 08.

I'm not into the idea of the standard trike feel. Nothing against it, but I'd like to keep the bike feel. Since they cost relatively the same it just seems like the right choice. I know one I retire I won't be able to afford it. That's why if I do it I'll pull the trigger soon.

If anyone sees a dealer within a day's ride of eastern NC with one, PLEASE let me know. I'd like to get a look close up. It'll definitely be done to my bike after that.

~6 hours half back road, in fact that's who I'm eventually going to have do the conversion. However, their inventory does not currently include a tilting works conversion (at least what they show online).

I have a 2015 40th Anniversary Goldwing that has the Tilting Motor Works TRIO kit already installed on it. The bike had 50 miles on it when I bought it from a dealer in Gilbert Arizona. To say it has been an adventure, is an understatement. Let me know if you want more information on it!

I’ve been inquiring about these, and will consider one if I my health improves enough before I retire. I’ll be following this thread.

I appreciate the prayers, Bronson. I have 18 months left till retirement. I’m hoping the old ticker will hold up that long. Until then, I’ll just hang on to the CSC a little longer.

I have a friend who has one and I rode it recently and it was a disappointment... Now to be fair, my friend was having difficulties with it and a firmware upgrade and new control board were recently installed which is suppose to rectify the problems I experienced when riding it...

My friends kit had the Tilt Lock on it and that is where the problems were... When entering or exiting a turn the bike could dive uncontrollably or would not straighten up all the way after the turn... Additionally, I thought the steering fell was quite heavy and I sure I would have been exhausted after a 200 mile ride...

Mt friend has since received the modifications to the bike and says it's a lot better but my friend still has it up for sale... I have NOT ridden it again since the modification so I don't know if it's better, worse, or the same...

The other issue for me with this kit is the fact you lose your linked brakes and ABS and I am not willing to give those up... I refuse to spend nearly 13K on a mod and come out with less than I went in with...

Has ennybuddy tried the Sturgis trike setup??? Sure looks like it work the same as Can Am Spyders It’s called the R18 and apparently they “Specialize” in the GL1800’s including the B and C Wings. They apparently have dealers/builders all over in the USA.
