  • Trike Week Is Here!

It's Trike Week on TheGLForum from October 20-26! We want to celebrate everything about the three-wheel experience. Now is your chance to tell your story about how you became part of the growing Goldwing trike culture.
    • Invite your trike buddies to join TheGLForum.com and participate in Trike Week
    • Post photos and/or videos of your trike
    • Tell your story (what kind of trike do you own, what has been your favorite trip, etc.)
    • What trike conversion do you own and why did you choose that one?

I'll get on my story right away. Then I can just cut and paste it when the site comes up.

Chris, as we discussed, this is a great idea. I often shared with the owner of another site how it appeared that the Trike riders were a forgotten bunch. To build a great trike, one needs a good platform to work from and in my humble opinion there is no better then the GL1800 Wing.

Thanks for giving some special attention to one of the fast growing segments of motorcycling. Great job.

Been riding my GL-1800 Roadsmith for 65,000 plus miles. It has taken Sharon and I most recently on the N.J. 15th Annual Lighthouse Tour. Thanks to forums like this I have learned a lot about outfitting my trike, tires, oil, lights well you get the picture. I like finding events to attend example being The Smoky Mountain Ride In ( SMRI ) great time wonderful roads friends found.

I will be attending Motor Trikes 20th Anniversory this weekend and will let you know next week how it goes. Motor Trike is located in east Texas (Troup) so there should be some good riding.

Went to the Motor Trike 20th this week end and I never had seen that many trikes in one place. The food was good the music was good and we had a great time. Nice ride in east Texas.

I was unable to continue riding my Victory Vegas, but didn't want to discontinue riding all together so I looked at triking my bike. Sadly no reverse gear available for smaller bikes. I chose the Gold Wing trike because if you're gonna ride a trike, why not ride the Cadillac of bikes. I found my current 2016 trike at Honda of Russellville website so I drove from Waco, TX to Arkansas to pick her up. I have loved this bike from the first ride home. I'm looking forward to some long rides and motorcycle camping when I retire in 3 years.
