Anyone see the new trike from BMW? Looks like three auto tires are mounted.

Nope I cannot ride that. That is too large a tank hump, my stomach would get in the way. Feet back on the rear axle and leaning so far forward, stomach will get in the way.

They still do not get it about those seats.

I'll be waiting for a Touring Version to unfold my legs... really like the 9 gallons (but what's its MPG) another high rever like the Can-Am , adj. windshield like the 1600 is needed , panniers are available, glove box, and other accessories...... 6 - spd w/Reverse..... you listening Honda, your being passed by again!!!
Might be a real Hydro-planner though with the full Dark-side rubber....

Looks interest, but not for me.
I can definitely appreciate the engineering that goes into BMW products, and their fit and finish is top notch, but there has always been something about BMW that turned me off.
It doesn't matter if we are talking about their cars are bikes, they just don't do anything for me.

I'm sure that this well sell to the "faithful" who want to stay with the brand, but I am just not sold on "that" look. I don't see me leaving the GL1800 unless something that looks as sharp comes along and so far, not so much. YMMV.

I wonder what kind of price tag you will be looking at,not counting the accessories?

The ACE 1330 in the RTs solved the high rever nature. Based on what is out about the 2015 GL1800, MH must believe that new colors and 40th Anniversary emblems is all they need to do. The GW may not be all that advanced; but they've got reliability and a well established dealer network. I do wish they would bring the GW into the 21st century with a completely integrated Bluetooth audio/comm system.

The new Can AM 1330 is an awesome engine! Low reving, great mpg, electric windshield, real reverse. Tom

Too bad the dealer network and the service rendered don't match the engine.

NOT sure where your legs go. The one pic looks like a big box down where my agua shields/legs are.

That is a beast for sure, 175 HP? Don't think that's coming out of a 1300cc engine, maybe 1600.

Chris look at the gallery of pics of the scoot. They have a pic of the foot peg(?) directly below the seat. Doesn't look too comfortable for long distance travel, as there is no obvious place to put highway type pegs. Interesting but not my cup of tea.

It does not appear to me that this trike is made by BMW. It appears to be made by GG Taurus with a BMW engine. Looks interesting and that engine is certainly puts out more horsepower than the new CanAM Spyder or even the Gold Wing. I bet it is a kick to ride.

                                  Honda trike?
                                  by jmohme
I was in Tyler Texas for the last few weeks and there was a Honda trike there.
It even had a top box!

It may not be emissions compliant though.
