  • Would you do this to an EC power plate?

    I just received an Electrical Connection Power Plate and everything looks stout. Except that the power wire that supplies the plate is attached to an aluminum lug, not soldered. I also determined that if I tried to solder the connection, I would end up melting part of the Fuse panel.
    Has anyone simply used some silicone to cover the lug?
    I want to do something to protect against moisture and corrosion on this connection.
    Thoughts?

    Yes , you can silicone it -NO problem

        I had one of ECs power block with over a 100K on it without any changes and had no problems over the years
