Heck no...that would indicate that I only changed my oil & filter every 10,000 miles. Come on...I am a lot smarter than that. I am pretty adament about breaking the engine in right, with more frequent oil changes in the earlier stages of the engine, and finally settling in with oil & filter changes every 5,000 miles. Now, my '03 Wing, that was ridden to over 107K miles in that one year, it had like....20 oil changes done to it during that time.
It had 5 oil & filter changes done to it...in one month during that year....May, 2003. 30,681 miles in 30 days.Comment: (For off-topic replies)

The maintenance during that month was as much for me, as it was for the bike. I also took the time to mow my 1/2 acre of lawn three times during that same month, and the reasoning for that is because it helped me stay grounded...to keep my head in a sane place, and take the mental break from the road.Originally posted by CAC View PostComment: (For off-topic replies)
