Problems with the radio and intercom.
My headset lost right side and my wife lost left side. later in the day we lost intercom but radio is still there.
If I hit a bump our headsets work for a short time ( radio only )in both ear pieces but not intercom.
    Question is.... anyone have this?
which harness is the one going to the headsets?
What is common to both headsets besides the radio unit?

Is it possible that you have some bad cables? Have you tried switching your wife's helmet cable with yours to run a test?

A loose connection is what you are describing.

Did you have the shelter off recently? If so you might want to make sure you hear a "Click" when you push in the radio plugs.
Try pushing the INT button on the radio in/out a few times to see if a piece of sand got trapped between it and the radio face plate?.

My wife was having problems loosing one side then the other, and i sprayed contact cleaner in the audio plug and plugged and unplugged her audio cord a few times and it seems to have cured the problem on her's.

              Here's a Passenger cord tip:
Spray a little silicone spray into the bikes plug so the passenger can easily fit them together.

                We have the 2 piece J&M cords/headsets.
I replace the cords a few years ago and now we are having trouble with the again.
Have to wiggle them around (where the 2 pieces connect) for a good contact.
Will replace the cords next year as the trike will be stored in a month for winter time in Wisconsin.

Cleaned up the connectors to the headsets with electronic cleaning spray. That fixed the radio problem. The intercom problem, was the mute selector button. Never knew it had one. somewhere along the line I hit it.
                  Thanks everyone for your help.

That mute button can serve a very good purpose, you know. Hehehe!
