  • EZ-GPSMOUNT

Today I finally got around to installing my new EZ-GPSMount on the windshield. It actually was a lot easier to install than my addled brain was picturing. I cannot ride with it until after the new year, but below are photos of it. Note the spot on my left clutch fluid reservoir where it had been sitting (where the yellow American Legion Legacy Ride wristband is still hanging). With my windshield at its current height I can easily see above/around it. I'm really looking forward to not having drink containers (which sit inside the Butler Cup holder) washing out the display.

Looks good- what sunshield are you using? I may get to try mine out this Saturday- supposed to be 50 degrees and sunny!

That's an old one that came on the GPS when I first bought the original bike in 09 (10?). It's a Touratech Sunshade, found at:
      http://www.touratech-usa.com/Store/P...oadmate-series. It's a good one for $14.

Another model I bought for my 1450 is the http://www.glarestomper.com/322. Just as good but almost $5 more. However, look at http://www.glarestomper.com and you'll see a lot more choices.

Did my first ride today with the EZ-GPS Mount- perfect! Exactly the right place - the only pavement I can't see is 6-8 feet in front of the wheel- never look there anyway. The Glarestomper isn't as sophisticated as I'd like but it works. This EZ mount is a winner!

I really enjoy the GPS placement as it allows me to look over the unit dead center the windshield not in my sight line (view), way better than peeking over to the left clutch reservoir (mounted on Ram) taking my eyes off the road ahead. So far so good especially after adding glare stomper!

Go to catalog and click on the picture of the Nuvi mount, you'll see the reviews there. Then click on the button to submit a review.
                Thanks

                  Butler Cup???
                  by HBarlow
I bought a Goldwing cup holder and mounting bracket right after I bought my previous Goldwing but didn't like it and didn't use it.

I've read comments by Goldwing owners that many of you...

                  by CaptLen
Finally got all the parts and pieces together- the EZ-GPS vent mount (ez-gpsmount.com) which enables mounting to the vent where it's easily seen (didn't like the RAM mount on clutch reservoir- too close)...

My current Goldwing is the second I've owned with XM/Nav equipment. The built-in Garmin unit on this new 2014 is improved and I use it on long trips but as we all know, it can't be programmed while riding...

That says a lot about the quality of the rubber Honda used back in the day.

I took the Goldwing to my Chiro appt yesterday. I'm getting annoyed with the extra wind on the ST.

Anyone have a unused Tack deck mount laying around?

I just bought a bike that has a Cassette deck, and I can't fit my 8 track tapes in it. (Yeah oh the humanity-Right!)
