  • Heat Gear Controls and Outlets

I added several new accessories to our new 2017 Goldwing.
I installed Gerbing Permanent Mount Controls and Gerbing Coax Outlets for both the rider and passenger positions. I couldn't find any examples online, so am posting these in case it helps anyone else with ideas on where to install controls.

I used WarmNSafe (FirstGear) on my BMW GS Adventure and have been very happy with it. I tried Gerbing on this bike and like it so far. The components are a little smaller in size, so I had more flexibility in mounting options.

        Your setup looks good.

I placed my outlet on the left lower fairing as shown. I use a cable/adapter with a 90* male fitting. This minimizes the intrusion into the area that my left knee lives and to give a bit more length to what amounts to my heated gear umbilical cord.
