  • Question about a 2016...

I just picked up a leftover 2016 level 2 last fall. My previous Goldwing was a 2012 I had a few years ago, I remember reading something a while ago suggesting that there was a small change/update Honda made between 2012 and 2016. My question I have, is this true and what was the "update" Honda made? Thanks....

Starting in 2014 Three Transmission Gears and a couple bearings were changed To stop the dreaded Ghost shifting.

The NAV was updated (Better maps if you had NAV)
XM was available for the audio system.

Mike. I forgot to say Congrats on the new bike.

I stand corrected on the XM. it was introduced in the 09 model.

As for the Transmission. Honda seems to have it corrected.

I haven't seen one in need of repair myself, or read of any ghost shifting on the 14 up 1800's.

        Your Welcome.
