Anyone know if there is a difference between a 2012 Gl1800 Trunk 2014 Gl1800 Trunk? Found a relatively inexpensive Show Chrome Rack for the trunk but it says for 2102 not 2014, ( but then again according to JPCYCLES site most parts from a 2012 0r 13 wont fit a 2014. when I know that is not true) picture of trunks look identical to me. I hate the Chrome so I'm gonna have it Black Powder Coated to go with the blacked out bike.

Eventually, I'll be powder coating mine also. I have powder-coated so far, both wheels, exhaust covers and the four crash bars. I'm thinking of powder-coating the chrome covers on the mufflers also.
I have a painted several trim pieces BLACK too. -

Went to my dealers showing of the 2012 GL1800 when they came out and the Honda Rep said there was only 3 pcs of plastic the same as the older GL1800s. It was the 2 pcs of the front fender and the trunk lid.Comment: (For off-topic replies)

From what I have seen 2012 thru 2014 and now 2015 all look the same. I like the color choices for the 2015's, I think it will help keep the price for my Black/Sliver 2012 higher.Comment: (For off-topic replies)
