I'm up in NS (from Connecticut)- my first long trip Bike loaded with camping gear- riding beautifully. Only problem- my buddy on his Road King limited to 65 mph due to bibration and inability to handle half what I'm carrying so even when speed limit is 70 we go 60-65, but we got here. It's beautiful

Sounds like a great ride. I would be concerned about the vibration though as that is not correct at all.

Enjoy riding the Cabot Trail as it is a fabulous ride, Memory says that there was a Harley dealer in Baddeck or maybe it was the larger town south of there. Im sure a google check or phone book would result in locating a dealer and fixing the problem, If you have the Gold Book try calling some local riders to help.

Thanks to both- the vibration on the Road King is standard issue H-D (I have a differnt model so I know it welll.) he was concerned anout a front wheel wiggle at 30 or so and we stopped at an H-D/ Honda dealer- they told him it was just luggage weight not to worry.

I own an Ultra which is on the same frame as the Road King and have traveled many miles, two up and towing a trailer. My wife and I are north of 400 pound together and had all compartment full. Riding 70 - 80 in some of the states was no problem. I would be real concerned with the Road King. Something is wrong!!!

I was in NS this past June, enjoyed the Cabot Trail. The road was a little rough on the East side but got better North and West. We traveled the Trail in the CCW direction. Take a few minutes to visit the Keltic Lodge on the Northeast side of the Island. Beautiful scenery.
Everyone on that island is so friendly and they speak English ! Enjoy

I was up there July 2013, had a great ride, some of the roads were rough as stated above. If your camping, I camped at Meat Cove Campground and it was great! I ended up renting a cabin in lieu of tenting because it was raining. Its a 4 mile (I think) of hard packed dirt / gravel road to get there, but well worth the trek. Even if you just ride out and take a look.
