Friday I was riding home and had my IPhone 5S plugged into the USB port in the trunk and everything was working fine. I hit a small bump or pothole and the Iphone stopped playing and the display only showed the clock. I pressed the AUX button and the IPhone started playing again and the display came back. Saturday I tried playing the Iphone and the audio system did not detect it. I also tried my IPod and it did not detect it. I plugged in a flash drive and it detected it and played the media on it. I plugged in a Samsung Galaxy S4 and it displayed ‘Check USB’ but did not detect any music media. I unplugged the Galaxy and plugged in the IPod and it detected it and played. I turned off the ignition and turned it back on and it was a 50/50 chance that it would detect the IPod, but it would never detect the Iphone 5S. I even disconnected that battery but it would never detect the Iphone. Any suggestions?

If you recently updated the IOS, I know Apple had a bunch of issues with version 8.0.1. Try updating the phone maybe?? My 5S kinda did the same thing, but it worked fine on my ride yesterday. I'm using an OEM cord.Ron - Montrose, CO
