  • In your humble opinion, whats the best passenger foot pegs

Looking to do a Go west trip, and I would like to surprise my beautiful co-rider ( for these past 16 happily marrieds years), with some new passenger footpegs. Whats the opinion of the best?? Kury?? Show Chrome?

My wife is also partial to the Kury Transformers. She's 5'2", I'm sure that factors in.

Yep, I'm in the same boat. Everyone I've talked to says they like the transformers by Kury. I'm just too cheap, but one of these days ...

As much as I dislike Kury products, their Transformer boards are in my opinion, the best option for the passenger. I have had them on all four the 1800s that I have owned.

I painted mine as soon as they came out of the box just to keep ahead of things.

Wingleader makes a flip up Pas. peg that I believe can be safer than the Kury. If the Kury pegs are up and the pass.foot is in the "stirrup"area a fall or tip over could trap their foot. Wingleader's arm is on the inside of the pass. leg and foot allowing an easy escape route and they are cheaper and seem to hold up well.

Well, Installed them last night. Very easy install, and the test fit passed Inspector # 1's stringent examination. Now The Inspector and I will try it out on the road.

My wife loves hers. The only problem I have with them is when I put my feet down her feet will hit me on the back of the leg, so just be aware of that.

As others have said, Kury Transformers are the way to go. Will keep them waxed/polished and see if I can mitigate the flaking chrome that has plagued others...
