What a joke. That's the 2017 maps. I already have the 2019 maps on my '08.

There will be some that will pay the money, then complain five years from now that end of support was called by Honda on these units.

Garmin's 'lifetime' is the amount of supportability lifetime they care to manage, rather than the hardware -or- end users lifetime is.

Naah, this is just going to make me go find a refurbished Garmin, just for the map data. A few bucks more, but data for the next ten years or so.

Everything has a lifespan. What the manufactures fail to disclose to the consumer is, "How they determine Lifespan as in Lifetime"

The NAV is why I refused to buy a 06 when I bought my current bike.

Honda never allowed Garmin to build a system the Garmin's own GPS's had available, with lots more features.

10 years ago I added a 2720. Its been years since I actually used it.

Waze is to user friendly and free,That is on my phone.

Honda went with Karmon for the ST800. We all know how crappy that system is too.

I have wondered about waze, but I wonder about how much data it uses. Have you noticed any issues in usage?

A quick Google search found your answer.

How much data does WAZE use on average?

The amount of data that Waze uses is dependent on a number of factors, including the amount of time you use it, trip distance, etc.. But let's take a look at a quick real-world example from our favorite source, Reddit. My data: About 15MB average a month driving about one hour a day on average. So about 0.5 MB a day.Feb 6, 2019

Waze isn't worth a crap out in the middle of the night. It's next-to-worthless, I've found in sparsely traveled areas (I-80 in Montana, for example...) but it is good in metropolitan areas.

              True.
A Cell phone is as useless out in the middle of know where too.
              if you break down.

I use Waze locally, once I'm in the area where I want to be.

              I can't stand a GPS reminding me where I know I'm going.(Reason why I haven't mounted mine in years.)

My Focus in on the road while riding, not on looking at gadgets I shouldn't be looking at!.(just sayin)
