Hmmm....I guess I'm glad I never took my GW in for the first recalll....now I can do both at once....
I witnessed a rear brake lock up by an experienced rider who is a member hear while he was in a lean around a corner. I was glad he wore a lot of protective gear. This occurred last Pres Day. He rode the GW home although it was totaled later I think....

I wonder how many bikes that had the initial recall done were actually done.
I took mine by a dealer and checked in at the service desk. Told them that I was there for the brake recall. He asked me if I knew my mileage, so I told him and then went into the show room to look around. Came back out signed the paperwork and left.
Sometime later, I was on the Honda link web site and noticed that it was still active. Turned out that they filed the recall on my old 2010 that had burned. Makes me wonder if they ever even looked at my bike.

Just got off the phone with my dealer they do not know a thing about this new recall. He checked my Vin and it came up ok passed the last the last recall??? in the woods again right were Honda wants us.

Yep, totaled. Luckily no serious injuries. I'm almost positive that was because of this failure that Honda still hasn't figured out what causes it.
