  • Found this sitting on top of fuel tank

Can someone tell me what this is? I found it just siting on top of the fuel tank when I took off the seat. Thanks

Looks like the dummy plug out of the radio, possibly where the second USB cable is now plugged in.

That looks like some homemade item, not OEM Honda.

How about a photo of the ends...

I found one, almost identical. It was in my pants pocket, the day after I installed the XM antenna.

Thank You. That explains it. The service tech who installed my antenna must have left it there.

So you never thought to call the "service tech" and ask him what it was??. did ya!

You have a lot in common with what Honda calls the can bus Dummy-plug.

One week ago I removed the trunk from my Gold Wing Tour. At the end of the project I had one piece left. It was that same dummy plug, but where does it go?

In the trash can, ifn you had something installed where THAT plug came from it is no longer needed ... that’s all

It seems there may be some contributors to this forum who had their GoldWings given to them. Most understand the power of work and the reward of labor. The four letter expressions here remind me of the language coming out of Portland OR for the last 95 days or so. Does anyone monitor this forum for integrity? Does dishonorable language reign here?
