I think most agree that 112 is ridiculous. As was said above that is easily attained in a long passing situation. Maybe some people don't pass. A lot do. I don't want to be behind 2 tractor trailers on a curvy road doing 45 for the next 50 miles. Hope they do some good for all that want it.

I look at it as a safety item, the quicker your around them the better

You are missing the point. removing the speed limiter has nothing to do with speeding!!

It's about the ability of safely passing a long line of cars, without the engine running out of steam before the task is completed!

No one has a problem if you don't mind following slow moving traffic. (Others don't need or want to)

Hee hee... My theory is that riders invariably never look down at that speed-o-meter as they finish that 1/4 mile dash needed to pass that double-semi that's moving along at 59.7 MPH on a 65 MPH highway.

You know as well as I do that cop with his handy-dandy radio frequency speed measurement device DOES see ya (eventually) as you flick back into your lane.

This is why I have counter measures.I see them before they see me!
OTOH - I haven't talked to any LEO,since I stopped riding with the bad penny.

Your natural speed limiter is your ability and what's between your ears. It's been working ever since the invention of the second wheel!!!

That's funny. But you're right. It does weed out the idiots.

This Flash not only "Includes" the removal of the 112 speed limiter.

But many other adjustments that may or may not help your bike?

It would be prudent to Wait.

To see what is included in all of the changes, that will be explained

After the Flash is released and a price point is revealed.

If after learning what is included in the re-flash, is something you desire?

        Great Buy it.

        If it's not for you?

        Then don't buy it!

No need for a "I never speed" party here.

No one is holding a gun to your head to buy it, are they?

This is good advice and exactly what I intend to do (wait until all the revisions are done). Not worried about the dealer service mechanics finding the bike was flashed as they have no way to access internal ECU codes, hell they couldn't even get the oil fill right when they prepped my 19 DCT .

Is the ECM behind the control console? I'm not one to take all that plastic off but did see the short cut to getting center console out without stripping the bike complete.

If the limiter didn't start slowing you down at 98 MPH maybe 112 be good enough but it does, you can just feel the speed level off like you hit a big hill.
