2018 GW DEAD in the water

I was doing some working on the 2018 std GW today. Seat off and looking at wiring in an LED license plate holder. When I went to turn on the radio to listen to it while working I had nothing. Mind you I rode it to the new position in the garage 10 min earlier. Key fob did not activate it, Bags wouldn't open and no response when attempting to start with emergency start procedure. Fuses all check, battery is perfect, disconnected the battery lead for 20 min and thought it would reset,,,,it did not. Any clue?

It's hard to help someone when the info you are being fed isn't factual. Or at least it isn't the whole story.

Don’t be ridiculous, everybody knows that if it is an electrical problem you need two puffs of unicorn farts along with the pixie dust to make it work..

    Boy some people!!!

I never cease to be amazed. It happens to me weekly. Tow truck drops off a no start. I call the customer and get the "story". Start checking the car. Things don't add up. Call the customer and get another story. It still don't add up. We have already fixed the car by now but would still like the facts. One more call , by then said customer is wearing down. Finally the true story. Car was running till they laid hands on it. Actually had a Sebring last year that the fuel pump fuse was missing. It was running fine till that happened. Magical. Fuses don't fall out. It takes a pair of needlenose to PULL it out.

I base my statements on facts, not some idiotic fiction claim.

A normal person (Non mechanic) would find it astounding, That a bike would run perfectly one minute.
Then not show any sign of electrical power directly after "just removing the seat" to install a accessory.

For which the owner claims he found an empty slot in the fuse box "without a fuse"
So "What the hell-Might as well try a 10 amp fuse in the slot and see what happens?"

If the story wasn't Impossible enough to comprehend even for a retard!

You expound the fantasy,By saying a Honda mechanic paid you a "House call" and is now going to order a fuse block on Monday.

You have to be the dumbest tool in the box!!

If you in fact called Honda? (Highly doubtful)

    They would of told you!!

Sir your bike is under Warranty- Tow it to your local dealer for diagnosis.

Honda does NOT make house calls!! Never have-Never will. "That's not how they do business!"

Furthermore the Fuse block (box) is part of the wiring Harness for the motorcycle.

No Idiot in their right mind would say such a thing to a customer. (your fuse box is bad!), "I'll order one on Monday and change it for you in your garage!"

Because a real mechanic, knows the bike has to be stripped to the frame for a "harness replacement".

Careful who you call out on here. Just saying, I'm sensitive
I don't see how you can possibly be sensitize, When you are "Clinically Brain Dead"

Word- If you are going to make up a fantasy, By all means make it Plausible!!

    I'm calling this story.

Having been a heavy line wrench for over 30 plus years and as a Goldwing mechanic for over 20 plus years.

I have Never seen a fuse fall out. go missing.

Never mind a vehicle not starting because a fuse was mysteriously missing from the fuse box, on a new vehicle no less.

    Doc.
    1. Why you are leaving out a key point in this fantasy story. (Like this never happened)

    2. Maybe you have a mole in your garage messing with you!! (That needs an azz kicking for touching your bike)

    3. Why on earth would you come to the conclusion to "Install a 10 amp fuse, hoping the bike will miraculously start in an empty slot in the fuse box,That isn't even as you say, marked on the fuse box cover?"

    4. And then tell us that your Miracle fuse installation - Did the trick, and the bike is now running fine?

I have to ask- Would you be so kind as to pick out a batch of Lotto numbers for me and a few friends.
