  • Enyoing a 2018 Goldwing bagger...

I just started riding an almost new (700 miles) 2018 Goldwing.
It´s my first goldwing after more than 20 bikes over 30 years already of motorcycle riding.
I could not be happier with my purchase. This is an amazing bike, with an incredible engine, always ready to pull you out of a corner, or help on a fast take over.
The front suspension is really unique and the handling of the bike is truly amazing given the size and weight of it.
It has a very entertaining sporty touch that only lacks of a little more ground clearance so the footpegs wouldn´t scratch the pavement so easily.
I use it everyday for commuting as well as the weekends for short trips, and the bike excells in those environments.
It´s really confortable and the carplay integration for me is a big plus.
It´s not perfect because no bike is, but for my taste and the use I make of it, it´s close to it.
Obvioulsy cargo space could be bigger but I do not mind to sacrifice that for the lower weight and size, and better handling compared to the previous model.

    Regards,

            Close...both areas have Mediterranean-like weather.

But only one has Canadian sized motorcycle license plates.

I just got my blue DCT end of last month. Weather finally getting better. I usually try to plan my errands in an efficient manner. Today, I found myself not doing that just so I could ride a little longer.

                      I feel the same way.
                      I bought a DCT 2018 a few weeks ago.
I love it more every time I ride it. This is my forth Wing. It really is a different animal compared to the rest.

I will be looking for a 2018/2019 Gold Wing in April and May. Traveling now. May 2018 some friends and I road the four corners of WA state. I went solo back to California and met a guy on a DCT Gold Wing. I didn't know what it was at the time so we chatted. I went back home, test road one, now just sold my 2018 BMW R1200RT. Great Bike, but, I fell in love with a lot of things this Gold Wing has. Congrats on your bike. I'll be joining you in a month or two. I hope to find a nice used one. If not... a new one it will have to be. Keep the rubber side down.

I agree Spanish Goldwing. After riding one I sold my 2018 BMW and am now looking for one. Good job Honda, but keep working improvements can be made.
