23,604 miles. Rear brakes still look to be about 50% Fronts were right at the indicators.

Do you brake equally, or more front than back?

I don't actually think about it. All of my riding is in response to the situation. However, based on the evidence, I would now say that I am using the fronts more, at least for the last 23,604 miles.

My front pads always wear out before my rear pads. I just removed mine for my video series and they all looked brand new at 7,700 miles.

Rocky, I thought you told me they were linked! You better know that I'm having fun and actually do know that it is in a ratio.

I didn't actually open the rear pad package, but I do believe they are thicker similar to the old ones. When it comes to the front ones, I like them a lot better then the ones on the antique 1800.

Reason I ask is my fronts were near wear bars at 11,000 miles. Backs looked new. Not the first one this had happened with. I am very easy on the bike, in the high 90 percentile in 6th gear by 40mph.

A reliable source told me it was a silent recall. I called Honda and they instructed my dealer to put new pads on it. I"ll see on the 2nd set.
