I bought and returned for a refund a defective 01-05 spoiler.

I then found a 06 up spoiler that was problem free.

I just had top modify the deck mounts to fit the trailer lid.

The trailer came with a Chrome Rack. I filled in the holes in the lid, before painting,In case I decided not to reinstall it??

I'll more than likely never leave anything on it for security reasons (The reason for this trailer was so I can lock everything inside and walk away)

So my question to you who have a rack on you trailers.

    Which look do you prefer??
If you could get rid of your rack if you don't use it!.

    Without the rack?

Great job!! Id leave it without the rack, you could add it later if you needed it.

I agree. Wait and see later if the rack is needed. Looks sharp and clean lines without it.

        Nice job!

I'm just not sure what you're gonna put on that rack that's gonna add any additional capacity to the trailer, but was it there to keep people from setting (heavy) things on what seems to be a fiberglass lid?

My first impression of the Rack, was it was a cosmetic item.

But knowing how people pack way more then they need for a trip.

I could see it being used by a few.

I'm not one of those few. I rather have everything inside and locked out of prying eyes.

I hate racks and spoilers. Just something to make cleaning under a PIA!

If it don't fit IN the trailer, it don't need to go. Looks better without the rack, JMHO

Even though my cargo trailer has a rack on top (that I've used before), I will have to agree with Pooch on this one. Rocky, that particular trailer looks much better without the rack. Great paint job! Just my 2 cents worth.

This is a rattlecan paint job.

Use the rack for grilling - Leave it off easier to wash it without it.

It had rained here in the last few days, and the trailer was filthy. And has to be washed.
So your suggestion is in fact the best reason as to why this trailer will be rack free?.

I agree with that, Doesn't look cluttered. and something else that doesn't need to be maintained or it will rust!!.

The trailer came with Chrome Lid trim. When I removed it for painting,I noticed it had deteriorated, and looked crappy. even though this trailer was always stored indoors since 2008 when it was bought.

While researching this brand. I found a demo trailer of theirs, and it had Black Trim on it.

Perfect color choice and it would tie the trim to the bikes black trim as well.

I also put it on the fenders for a finished look. Looks way better than the chrome trim did. and won't deteriorate with time like the chrome did.

All that's left to do is add an air bag pressure gauge. (so I'll know what psi to use when we pack for certain trips.making the suspension work smoother)
And Gas shocks for the lid (Has some weird Springs on them now) And I want the Lid to open more,so I can't bang my head on the lock. lol
