  • Don Tilly Killed on BRP

I know a lot of you may have not ever heard of Don Tilly. He was a life long racer of HDs and had a HD dealership in NC. He was riding the Blue Ridge Pky Sat and slid of the rode and was killed. wife in serious condition. I know this is a GW forum but he was well known in NC and the MC industry. Prayers for his wife and family.

Yes, truly sad. Saw this on my FaceBook Goldwing group feed:

We're sad to report that well known motorcyclist Don Tilley, 78 has died in an accident Friday night on the Blue Ridge Parkway near mile post 394. His wife Robinette is in the hospital in critical condition.  The couple was returning from the HD dealer meeting in Nashville.   Tilley was the owner of Tilley Harley-David

Sorry to hear this news. Always tough to hear about any rider that goes down, regardless of make or model.
