A little tip I have found handy. Sometimes another action cam maker may offer a type of mount that GoPro doesn’t make. If the mount uses a standard threaded camera screw, you can get the GoPro tripod adapter and use it with your GoPro. I’m using a JVC strap mount with my GoPro for a crash bar mount. The lower fairings preclude using the GoPro bar mount and the JVC mount solved this perfectly.
