  • Any interest in a forum sticker for your bike?

I have my graphics guru working on a sticker for the forum, and, if there is enough interest, I will get some made up for us.

Right now, I think I can deliver them (including postage) for $2.50 each or 3 for $5

The sticker would be white and "gold" text (white text has a black outline). Not sure yet how the "gold" will look. They will be 5" wide X 1.3" tall and printed on a clear background.

Here is a rendering, I think they look pretty cool

I like it, and 5 inches wide is about right for placement on the rear fender.

Yes, I was thinking just today that I need to remove my decal from that "other" forum. How about putting the URL centered below the logo (between the wings)?

Yes, also a jacket patch if anyone decides to do that.

Not sure I would do 3 for $5, but if you did a buy 2 at $2.50 each and get one free I'd be all in on that !

For an extra fee, can you include a graphic similar to the one Rocky worked up?

Three for $5 works for me also. What's the best way of removing the other one?

That is a problem with sticky stickers. Paint will fade around them, leaving the sticker spot brighter, paint comes off with the stickers and various other problems, if on the paint.

To remove one gentle heat like a hair dryer, peel it off best you can, then use WD-40 to rub off the rest of it and the glue. Goof Off works well, but good ole WD 40 works just as well and costs much less.

Agree with Kit. Warm up the decal and plastic body panel with a hair dryer on low setting to soften the adhesive and peel it off slowly, I removed mine today. I already had a bottle of Goo Gone, so that's what I used.

All the more reason that when you remove the sticker from the "other" site, you need to cover the spot with a NEW sticker.

Thanks Kit and the rest about the removal procedure. I agree Cruiseman all the better reason for a new sticker. Take care all.
