  • Riding boots

Just throwing it out to see what everyone likes for riding boots? My Tourmaster Solution boots work good for shifting but I would love a pair of the Sidi Canyon boots. Not sure if they will fit under the shifter as well. Big bucks to find out and not willing to gamble.

I wear Wolverine pull on work boots, mainly because they are the only boots I have found that fit my odd feet correctly.

I have been surprisingly pleased with my Tourmaster Solution 2.0 boots. I had low expectations, but they have really held up well, and are comfortable.

I wear Georgia work boots, very comfortable and fit under shifter nicely. They come steel toe as well but I do not have that feature.

Wore the Tourmaster Solutions for years, but the waterproof design made them really hot….went to new technology of Gore-Tex in the form of Dainese TRQ Touring Gore-Tex. Lightweight, adjustable for calf size, rear zipper, waterproof & GREAT ankle protection.
New they are spendy, but found an "almost new" pair on ebay for less than 1/2 price. They run a 1/2 size small, that is why I got the deal…didn't fit the original buyer.

After 15 years of army boots I needed new boots too, used army boots again, Meindl Army Pro, bit stiff the first 2 days, but great after that. No more wet or cold feet... http://www.armynnavy.com/catalog/cat...oducts_id/5035

I was looking at a lot of different boots, went to a police and fire dept uniform store found a pair of side zip boots that fit like a glove, I have wide feet and it was hard to find a pair that fit, I like them so far comfort when walking as well

I also have a pair of pricey Danner tactical boots that are just to clumsy to shift properly on the "6".

I have been wearing Cruiserworks boots for a few years now, and they are great! I could wear them all day, everyday . . . they are so comfortable!

I had the tourmaster solutions2.0 also. I found them to be very hot and very poor zippers. I had one zipper fail and cost me $14 to ship them back so they could replace them under warranty. The second pair had the same zipper fail. I had it repaired locally for about the cost of shipping. That zipper didn't even last one season. I've moved on, never much cared for zippers on boots anyhow.

I'm on my second pair of Sidi On Road boots. I used to change out of my boots at work but just stay in these now, they are very comfortable. There are a lot of very nice boots out there, these are just my current favorites.

They're not stylish, but I like my Altama military boots for riding.

A good laugh is good for everyone time to time. That is funny for sure.

I will keep this suggestion in mind.

Buy from RevZilla, if you don't wear them to actually ride in you can return them. I can use the edge of my boot to shift (Daytona) Expensive but far more comfortable than my old Sidis. Regardless
comfortable boots are a big deal to me . I think you will be able to shift with sidi. Good Luck!
