I've had a couple trailers. First we had an Aluma MCTXL, it was a very nice well built trailer. However, with it's boxy shape it wasn't very aerodynamic and in high winds it had a big affect on gas mileage. My current trailer is a Bushtec Quantam Sport. It's lighter and easier to pull than the big Aluma, the trailer contents also seem to ride better, the ride must be smoother.
And here it is packed to shoot a horse show in North Carolina. All of my camera and lighting gear fit plus laptops and monitors and table to set up as viewing stations.
Yes and no, I had the wheels of both the bike and the trailer powered coated black and then took them to Tom's paint shop and had the yellow was done the same time he painted my trailer.
I've been pulling trailers behind my Wings since 1979. I've had 2 trailers in that time period, the first was a Shoreline I bought as a kit from the factory in Arlington Tx. at the time and me and a friend assembled it from the ground up. He built the frame & painted the whole rig. I pulled it until 1999 when I sold it to another friend and it's still on the road today. Then I bought an "original Dart" before they were bought out by Time Out Trailers. I'm still pulling the Dart today and it probably has over 250 thousand miles on it, now that I think about it. Earlier this year I did a complete makeover on it with a new paint job to match my 05' and installed new LED lights and so forth. Only problem is, I don't have any pictures of it since the makeover. Guess I'll have to git-r-done but on the other hand, I'm not a computer whiz so I wouldn't know how to post a picture even if I had one!
