  • Mic-O-Pegs -- Stock or aftermarket pegs

My MOP's have an aftermarket peg. They seem to work pretty well, but I've considered going back to stock. I love my Mic-O-Pegs but wonder what experiences the masses have had with the stock ones and/or aftermarket pegs. If you use aftermarket, which pegs to you use and why?

Check out my video. Since this video, I have changed to the bigger kuryakan large ISO pegs. (They match my driver pegs) I think the stock MOP pegs are embarrassing ugly.

When I bought my 03, a stock set was already installed. When I traded the 03 for an 08, I had them transferred intact; have replaced the springs once and the plastic end pieces once (gave up on the left one). They may be ugly as sin, but I've enjoyed them every mile they've been used. Also, by switching to mini-running boards, I'm only on the MOP's about half as much. Getting off the stock GW pegs sure helped a lot.

That is something that I have always wondered about.
I bet Mic-O-Pegs would sell even better than they already do, if they didn't look like they were made by some guy with some flat stock and vice.
They are with out a doubt, a quality product but really don't look it.
