  • New Traxxion believer

Just got the Traxxion full Monty installed yesterday. I was a little apprehensive with the cost, but after just a few mile I knew I made the right decision. Huge improvement from low speed figure eights to high speed smoothness. It's what it should have came from the factory like. I kind of wish now I would have done it right after I bought the bike.

Did mine at 1000 miles. Best money I spent on the wing.

After 30K I up-graded a few years back. The difference is unbelieveable!

I only have about 120 miles on it since the upgrade, most of it freeway. Looking forward to getting it out in some twisties as soon as I can.

I am probably going to have to do the same soon. Paul Bihm let me ride his in the parking lot at the last get together, and I went across the parking lot fairly quick and was gonna turn at a light pole, it turned so quick I thought I was gonna hit the pole! It turned very fast and input was almost effortless. You can definately feel those smooth bearings and triple tree. I wish I wouldn't have rode it, there goes 3K!

Congrats on the new suspension. Here is my two cents. While it is a nice suspension " I have had it on Two 1800's" a person can get real close to having what it is, for about a third of the money, with Buckskins or Rockys lower tree, Monotubes or different springs, all balls and work on the back shock as well with either a progressive or have racetech rear shock. I have had two wings with such components in them as well. And for MY OPINION and MY MONEY the later is the way to go, a third of the cost and I would say 90 to 95% of the performance of Traxxion. So it is up to a guy to decide. I hope you enjoy your new suspension, it sure does make a BIG difference on this HEAVY COUCH BIKE! Any improvement in the suspensions helps a lot!

with Rick, the way I ride the Rocky setup is all I need, so I am removing my AK20's, and going back to stock forks with the Monotubes, and a fork brace, and a new rear shock/spring off a 2014 .

Having been around Traxxion for some time, I suppose I never fully appreciated it until I Triked my bike. Now I see how well it does work in smoothing out the ride. I do remember even Traxxion stating at first it was of no use on a Trike, but that did change with time and experience, now that it is on mine and the bike is now a Trike, I do enjoy the smoother ride. Just seems to work very well in this application.

I wish I could afford it. But like others, I have done the rocky tree, tapered bearings and a fork brace. The results are outstanding. I may go with monotubes, but I will try springs first. As for the shock - Traxx seems to be best/cheapest replacement ATM. Just need to save my pennies...

I recently had to go back to a stock bike. I totaled my old one. While it's a great bike it's almost unrideable I have yet to put the components on the new bike. I have the full Rocky setup and before that race tech. Any upgrade is an improvement but you don't really fully appreciate it till it's gone

Slygrin, congrats on the new setup! I wouldn't want a Wing without Traxxion.
