My wifes Miata had a set on it. They would have been great if she had ever looked at them.
They are nice in that you can tell at a glance if you have a low tire, but like with TPMS, they do not replace the tire gauge.
They can cause rapid air loss on the Factory Goldwing 90 degree valve stems, when the plastic holder lets go. I would not suggest them. I also don't think they are accurate. TPMS is the way to go, if you have to have one. My 2 cents.
The ones on my daughters car would leak about 5 lb per week. When I took them off and threw them away and put .02 cent platic caps on the leaking quit. As said above they are no replacement for an air gauge.
