No question. Good food, great friends and some fantastic ladies on our arm. Nope, does not get much better than that. Had a blast catching up and enjoying the area. Really loved checking out the FDR overlook, Little White House, and other things to see and do in the area. Thanks Buddy.

Wish I had known ya'll were in the area. FDR, Little White House, Warm Springs, GA is only 45 miles from my front door. Would have loved to put a paw-shake on ya. Perhaps next time.

My lovely bride enjoyed her first (I don't think it will be her last now, LOL), ladies sewing retreat just south/east of Atlanta and I have a very good friend who has invited me for years to visit with him in Douglasville so I rode the bike down. My bad as I should have posted something about it as I too would have enjoyed catching up and putting a handshake on ya. We headed south and are enjoying the warmth of south Florida for a bit and them putting on the snow chains and heading back UP the road.
Did catchup with Slow Joe as well as Fred and had more laughs then I should have been allowed. All the best and look forward to seeing you on the next visit given that from what I am hearing, there most certainly will be one since my wife had such a good time.

Yes sir, I know all about those "sewing retreats". Every Thursday my Grannie use to host a quilting afternoon in the big farm-house. I noticed that most all the Ladies would disappear into a closet in the quilt-room for a minute or two from time to time. I slipped into the closet one day and found a couple bottles of "Jack" with a few "shot-glasses". No wonder they were happy sewing on the quilt all afternoon.

I posted this on the "other" forum, and I thought I'd give members over here a chance too. I was thinking about doing a day-long RTE from eastern KS to Springfield MO to eat lunch at Lambert's...

Not really sure when this started, and guess it was a few years after I had been out riding, but from time to time I have the pleasure of being asked to help someone with a disability on how they too...
