The ole "hard" leather Corbin seat seems to make my butt happy. Had them on most of the Wings that I've owned.

I am now on my second modified seat that was done by "WingSoft" my first was the full "WingSoft" including passenger on my 2003 wing...but now my wife can't ride any more, so I have the single "WingSoft" just for me on the 2008 wing.

The purchase of our Ultimate King is some of the best money we have spent on our GL1800. After trying multipul other options, I was down to the last straw. After discussing the seat with Des, owner of the company, I decided to give one of his seats a try. PERFECT !!! The man, the company, and his products are all great. If I needed another seat I would not need to look further than Ultimate.

On my 2nd Tom Simmons : http://www.tscustomseats.com/gpage.html Custom seat. He does great work, but it not real cheap and for custom nobody is. You send him your seat and he rebuilds what you want on your own seat pan. I've had the same seat now thru my 2003 GL1800 as a bike and then as a trike and just recently sent it back in for some adjustments... He sends color and fabric samples, you fill out paperwork and take some pictures of you and the spouse on the bike or trike and then explain after he gets the photos what you desire. Most of the bucket in the seat is now gone as he raised the seat for me to gain a better seating position for braking and shifting and a straighter shot at the road boards... much more comfortable for me now, we all change as we grow older...if you like what you have rebuild it to your specifications. It takes some time and phone calls to get on the same page.

I am currently using my 11th custom seat from Russell Day-Long Saddles (RDL). I have tried other brands over the years, such as Rick Meyers seats (x2), and Corbin, and Ultimate seats.
The only aftermarket (truly) customized seat that works for me, is the Russell Day-Long Saddle. Every "body" has a different butt...different pressure points, and one seat that may work for rider A, may not work for rider B. RDL seats are custom built for the individual rider...not a ready-built seat sitting on the shelf...the only seat made with an internal suspension system, and "thee" seat preferred by more than 75% of the riders that ride...The Iron Butt Rally.

Tried a Hartco Big Boy for a few thousand miles. I liked it but still was looking for more. I purchased an Ultimate King from a member of the [other] forum and haven't looked back! Money well spent!

I had a WingSoft Large on my 2007 and it made a huge difference. Great if you are over 6' tall!

Tom Simmons redid my seat on my 2012. We took it to him and picked out the fabric. Great job.

Ditto on what MMR said about the Russell D Long.
It makes the best touring bike made even better.

I am fortunate in that the factory seat fits me well, but on my 05, after many miles, the foam got compressed so I had Wingsoft do their magic on it and liked it quite a bit. I will have him do this one when it gets to that point, but for now it is working fine for me.

I finally got my Mustang seat after being back ordered for 2 months. I just put the bike away for the season but took off the stock seat and slipped the Mustang on to see how it feels. Drops me down about an inch from stock and looks very nice. Seems comfortable but won't know till I get a few miles on her next spring. I actually liked the stock seat with my Airhawk pad but I got a real good deal on the Mustang from the F6B forum auction for their rally. I think if I did not have this new seat I would have looked into the Ultimate or RDL seats.

Corbin...I am 6'3 and pretty heavy built. I have tailbone issues. I spent hundreds of bux with pads, backrests, blah blah and nothing worked. Finally ran into a guy with the same problem. He showed me his saddle and let me sit on it. It has been an outstanding purchase. I was close to selling my wing..........

Heated Corbin here.Came with the bike and I was lucky that it fits me.Don't know how they rate with a few of the others, but it does the trick for us.Long days no problem.Had a Hartco on my 1500 (that I bought new) and the wife and I both loved that one.She wouldn't even get off when I fueled up most of the time after a full tank. Also had what I believe to be a Diamond seat on my original Fatwing a fully dressed 75 .IMHO anything is far better than stock.
