  • When John Deere green don't cut it...

...try Honda red. For a short time today the only vehicle I had available for hauling leaves was the wing. The tractor is in the shop.

Judging by that picture, you are going to have your work cut out for you for the next couple months.

Looks like your wing worked well. I like you have a John Deer. It's a 855 and does a great job on all I ask it to do. Be safe and enjoy the ride. Larry

Good one Richard. You need to show the tractor shop this picture.

Got a newphie buddy that took a 8' wide snowmobile trailer behind an 1100 wing to Home Depot to pick up some drywall.Got off the bike and was walking away, just happened to look back and the trailer was pushing the bike ahead.Had to scramble to catch it before it fell over. Not the first and probably not the last time he's done something like this. He's got 2 other brothers that are just about as crazy.Great guys though.Their last name is Weisman,so we call them "The Three Weisman".When they're not doing crazy **** they're putting a ton of miles on their bikes.

I once pulled my 16ft aluminum Lund with a 25hp Johnson down to the lake for $hitz and giggles with my 2007 Wing. The looks I got driving thru town was worth the effort. I got the boat in the water but couldn't pull it out a few hours later .. there were some guys who helped get it out with their truck, then I hitched it up to the Wing and drove home .. it was one heck of a kool day !

Pretty good story. I can only imagine trying to pull the boat out, on a slippery ramp, with the wing was a real adventure.

Even with a car tire I don't think it would pull the boat out but it would be cool to see. Richard when your done there come on over I have plenty more here to clean up.

A couple of years ago, I towed my 18 ft ski boat with 200hp merc on it, in the local parade.

Joe, thanks for the offer on the brownies (yum, yum). Now Summersville I can probably do depending on the dates. When you get it all finalized let Cruiseman know so he can put it on the calendar on this board. Let me know the particulars and I'll post them on the Darkside board here if you want. I don't foresee becoming active on the other board as long as it is managed and moderated the way it is (I am trying to be nice).

This is good. I ride mike GW to work most everyday and it is parked in front of the John Deere Dealership. Tomorrow I will get a picture of the Green tractors behind it.
