Purchased these from Sierra Trading Post on-line. I am on their email list and they constantly bombard you with 'special offers'... ie: free shipping or 99cents. 50 % off, etc , etc. I think I purchased for $7 - $8 this spring and have worn over last 5 months or so. Warm weather glove in the normal safety green (color looks little off in this picture). Size may run a little small, I am six', 200+ and normal man hands..... I like the the XXL. Originally ordered the XL and liked them, especially for the price. Went back and got half dozen pairs of XXL for me and couple more for cycle buddies. People I ride with have repeatedly commented on how that green pops visually. CARHARTT... 'The Fixer Glove' ......

I'm loving my Roland Sands Barfly gloves: http://www.rolandsands.com/products/BARFLY-GLOVE-SAND
Not cheap, but c'mon, look at these beautiful puppies. Comfortable and grippy too.

In summer rain, I wear no gloves at all. Not good, but a couple of times over the years I have had gloves get wet "grab" the throttle in a turn and give me close to a heart attack.2007 Crucible Orange Metallic

The best gloves I've found for summer and moderate cold weather riding are ordinary elkskin or deerskin rancher's gloves purchased at farm stores or hardware stores. They are very comfortable and durable for all but extreme cold weather riding. Aerostich sells about six or eight different styles insulated or non-insulated and the Aerostich "double digit" rain covers can be easily stored and pulled over ordinary riding gloves when it rains.Harvey Barlow

It'll sound silly but some of the more comfortable cheap gloves that I've purchased make my nose itch. I'll forget about it and be riding along, rub my nose and get my nose itching something fierce. I figure it's somehow related to my allergies, but my more expensive Gore Windstopper gloves don't do it.2008 Red GW1800 -- NRA Life Member - American Legion PUFL, American Legion Riders
