  • Harbor Freight Brake Bleeder

Any one have any experience with the Pneumatic brake bleeder that Harbor freight sells? http://www.harborfreight.com/pneumat...der-61912.html I see that it only has a one star review but I have found that this can often be attributed to user error with lots of products. I would like to do a fluid exchange on every vehicle I own and just looking for a better way as I have often been frustrated trying to bleed brakes in the past. I am far from helpless mechanically as I have even done engine rebuilds in the past with good results.

Sorry, I cannot speak to the Harbor Freight bleeder. After installing Speed Bleeders, any other method seems archaic to me. I even updated my brake flush and bleed video to show the installation and use of the Speed Bleeders.

I have the vacuum pump works ok just a lot of setup just to bleed a bike. I like the stuff Motion Pro sells for bleeding much easier at lease for me.

Read the one and only review of the HF Pneumatic Brake Bleeder. Not good.

I have it. Broke the plunger on second use. I would not waste my money.

Yes, speed bleeders are the bomb!

That 20 buck Motion Pro looks like an aquarium check valve. I bet one like this would work just fine. http://www.amazon.com/Jardin-Outlet-...valve+aquarium

The speed bleeders do look like they are the ultimate answer though.

the Harbor Freight unit is a P O S: it worked once, now it leaks like a sieve. Not worth the $$

Yep had SpeedBleeders on my 1300 and bleeding was a breeze. I have a MityVac that works great as long as you get a good seal with the tubing.

I had the MityVac Hand Unit, bought it at HF didn't like the looks of HF's but it required a lot of pumping to keep the vacuum pulled, sold it an got their Pneumatic Unit to pull the Vacuum, now it takes longer to get it out of the box than it does to bleed everything on the trike.....

I replaced my brake bleeders with speed bleeders a while back. I have been surfing the web for a speed bleeder for my clutch. Some one said it had to be longer than the ones for the brake. I would appreciate...
