  • Luggage question

Recently saw a new product- a horseshoe shaped duffel that fits on your passenger seat - but having CRS I can't remember who makes it. I've looked at several vendors' sites- haven't seen it- anyone know what I'm thinking of?

Thanks, Pooch, but the one I saw the writeup on looked like a big sausage draped over the back seat and went down to the passenger footrests- thanks for checking in, though

Search for Giant Loop....A lot of Adventure MC guys use that and it might be what you want...

Thats kinda cool looking. For solo riders it'd work well.

Plan to use it on trips- seems a good way to add capacity and keep weight low. My left saddlebag has tools, tire repair kit, small tire pump, first aid stuff (bulky), and fire extimguisher. I hope I never need any of it but won't travel without. That cuts down on my available space and I never mastered packing light, though I'll pack lighter for the upcoming Blue Ridge Highway trip than I did for the Nova Scotia trip. We'll be motelling, not camping for this one.

Pak It rack is a good option as well....

The Adv MC guys use the Giant Loop stuff.

Also check out Wolfman Adv bags too.

On my Adv MC I have side panniers and will use 2 or 3 dry bags on top behind the rider (no pasenger) for clothes, rain & cold gear, and camping gear (tent, pillow, sleeping bag, pad)
