  • What communications will work well with my new helmet?

After almost 3 years and an ill fitting helmet I found one that fits.
I have a long oval and the Arai Signet-Q is it.

The question that I have is what communications will work well with this helmet?
I would like blue tooth since I do not have a CB and I use my Galaxy S4 as my GPS.

    Thanks
    RJ

I personally have had terrible luck with bluetooth and now just hardwire everything, but there are a lot of folks that seem quite happy with Sena products.

I have not tried anything else but this set up and so far I like it and the cost is much less. I simply wanted to be able to communicate with my wife and listen to some music once in a while and this does it nicely.

IMC Motorcom is a German manufacturer, we distribute and sell motorcycle helmets headsets for touring motorcycles. Such as Harley Ultra Classic and Honda Goldwing.

The only thing that would keep me from going to a complete Bluetooth setup is having to hassle with recharging or replacing batteries in the unit(s). I already have to carry chargers for my smartphone, netbook and camera and spare batteries for the SPOT device and other electronic devices.

While I was at WOS I Found a Slick Helmet -it's a GMAX 67s $75- I was using an Arai CT/z with J&M Speakers (2004) Yeah it was time for a change I got New J&M Speakers installed - It fits me just like my Arai Did and has really great WORKING air vents as well as a (inside) flip down Sunvisor -Clear face shield and optional rear led Brake light -kit comes with a Transmitter to hook to your bike brake light - (2-wire) I installed it in mt trunk lid as I have a spoiler - Here is a link to see the Helmet in action- Great price for Value and it's DOT.

I have the JM setup, Helmet and Bluetooth. The Bluetooth is expensive but I can make or take calls instead of CB. It integrates your music and phone thru the Honda system.

I want nothing to do with a phone while riding my bikes but that is just me.
