I think the "other" site has mostly good people but the few jerks really mess it up for everyone. Thanks for starting this board.

The problem was exacerbated by the (sole) moderator being one of those that really messed it up for everyone, and his active support like-minded folks. That's no way to run a forum. Even if he had been even-handed, I disagree with the notion that a person be banned with no warning at all, even if was for his "7 day time out". "Rules" are too open for interpretation to be that heavy handed.

And NO one should EVER be banned with no reason given.
