  • Escapade Elite trailer owners, a warning.

While checking the underneath of my Escapade this past summer, I discovered a problem that needs to be addressed. The bump out for the spare tire is getting sandblasted by road debris. This winter I plan to have the bottom painted with bedliner to protect it from further damage.

Posted in the Trailer forum also.

Spray on berliner is probably the best solution to prevent damage, but if it is wearing thin, you should pick up a fiberglass kit and add a layer or two.

You would think the manufactures would have put a protective shield or something to protect those vulnerable areas.

The may have, but age takes its toll on things. Even bed liner won't last forever.
