My dad used to tell me "Son, even though you have the right of way while on your m/c, those other cars and trucks are bigger, and it won't do you any good to be dead right." I hope this rider was ok - certainly doesn't look as if he is though.

Looks like a green light flashing in the background right before the wreck. When riding a MC (or even driving a car) never push a yellow light and ALWAYS clear the intersection before riding through, even on a green light (clear means look both ways to check to see if traffic is stopped or stopping as you approach the intersection). Cover your clutch & brakes and slow a little to be prepared for a driver to turn in front of you or a driver running the light.

From what I see the cars had a green light and they wasted no time moving through. The bike should have stopped but then the lights are all flashing different colors it seems. Either way, the rider was not riding defensively and was moving too fast for the situation.

Oh I absolutely agree, I just mentioned he appeared to have the right of way. That certainly doesn't mean to go charging in an intersection without being defensive.
I always assume the other guy is going to do something stupid.

What am I missing here? The light turned green as the two oncoming cars from the camera car approached the intersection. To me, that would make the light turn red for the motorcycle rider just as he entered the intersection. He ran a red light thinking he could make in on a yellow and lost.
