I don't see people litter this much here in the good old USA, not saying it doesn't happen, but this girl is going to get her lunch handed to her if she keeps this up.

I like it. I see people toss cigarettes out of windows, trash and food wrappers all the time. Just drive along our freeways and off ramps and look at the garbage. And of course our state is so broke that we can not afford to pay the crews to clean up. Pathetic.

Oh I know, California has a lot of litter on the Highways and Byways, I just don't actually "see" them do it that often.

The worst is on the Indian reservations out here in the west. Though I have to say we pulled over at the brake check point on the north side of the Salt River Canyon here in Arizona and I could not for the life of me understand how anyone and it appeared everyone dumped their trash into the ravine...incredibly rude and disrespectful.

I've always had this fantasy about picking up dropped trash and "returning" it saying "Hey, you dropped this". I tend to agree that girl is destined for problems. The cages are bigger than us (most of the time).

My biggest pet peeve is lit cigarette butts. I had one bounce off the road and hit me once (though I suspect the lit part had come off by then). When it's dark, you can see the lit trail. That one time was the only time one even came close to hitting me, though one hit the tire of my bike just last week.

Irritates me as bad a folks who text and drive.

In our area of TN they use inmates from the County Jail for clean up, They also use people convicted of minor crimes and sentenced to Community Service for the clean up. Usually if it was for a DWI/DUI they also wear a vest stating that for all to see.

I have done that at least 100 times while working.......of course, people tend to normally just turn red and apologize when they see the uniform.

I agree. Had one that threw a cigarette out as I walked up to warn them about their driving, got a ticket for the driving and littering.
