  • Zumo 390LM

Since I ride with a group that loves complicated routes, I really rely on my GPS. I have a Nuvi 550 which has served me well, but the power connection is sketchy now. Based on the thread in this form regarding GPS and other reviews, I have decided to invest in a Zumo 390LM. Since many eyes can be better than my two, where can I find the best price on this unit?

I bought that model from Revzilla because the accepted paypal. (I had a paypal balance that I wanted to use)
    Gpscity.com was a little cheaper.

(note: if you want to use the tire pressure monitor, you have to buy each tire sensor separately)

I bought a couple GPSs from Getfeetwet.com. I had a problem with one and they exchanged it without any issues. The prices at that time were competitive.

I absolutely love my 390!! I lamented about the price for quite a long time and was just going to get by with a cheap $99 Garmin. I am so glad I spent the extra money and got it. It is great for routing long trips and I absolutely love having the tire pressure monitor without having another item cluttering up my dash.

I invested in the Zumo 590 and tpms just before my 11,000 mile pizza run.. I loved it Much faster in recalc when you miss a turn or need to change a location quickly on the fly,, Plus the blue tooth capabilities are great with my CTX1300 and xm radio. Plus needed the real time TPMS instead of an idiot light on my old gl1800. plus the tpms is resettable on the fly to as far what pressure you want your alert to go off and you can add up to 4 sensors in case your riding buddy does not have a tpms. as long as he or she stays win about 10 feet

also the curvy road option was a treat

Thanks for the info, because I'm done with Garmin's crap on my bike. No updates for the 2012 and many more issues to deal with that I care to deal with. I'll check this out.
