Honda Extended Warranty - Best Place To Buy?

I always have bought mine through Honda Direct Line in the past. They always had the best deal when I was looking.

Just to be clear, my bike (2012) was new in May of 2013, so the factory warranty is good until 2016. I can then buy the extended warranty any time before May of 2016 and I can buy it at any dealer such as this place you just posted even though it is several states away from me?

Yes they sell to anyone anywhere in a state that allows for the Honda warranty can be sold (Excludes FLA) same as Hal

Any of you guys try the Star Sport extended warranty?? I have read the differences between Honda Extended Warranty and Star Sport and
looks like Star Sport is better. (on paper that is)

I did a Google search on Star Sport Warranty, of course there are people that like it and then those that don't...They have different coverage options and seems
from my brief search,the "Diamond plan" is the best for the money

John - Out of curiosity does it cover your bike anywhere in US? Some of these third party plans are only good at that specific dealer. The Honda plan is good anywhere which is why I bought mine. Take care.

Yes- Mitch or anyone else in the Sales department - I don't any get Kickback -just having bought my last 2 Wings from them -How I got to know them was in 2003 when they did my Frame recall on my 2002 (weld) Welding Mine and 40 others with a "Honda" Certified Welder and the Area Rep on site as well

Their Shop and service department is the only Honda shop in VA that is equal to HD Service department Style (MEANING) It's NOT a Lawn Mower Shop/Style like 90% of the other HONDA DEALERS.

I did call the guys at Blue Ridge Powersports yesterday, and they gave me a quote of $ 499.00 for an additional 4 years Honda warranty. That is the best price I have seen thus far. I have bought this warranty before, on previous bikes, so I am familiar with it. I cannot recall anyone selling the 4 year plan for less than that.

crabbywinger...Yes any where in the USA...it also comes with lifetime engine warranty...
I was told you can go to any shop...or dealer...does NOT have to be a Honda dealer...the shop simply calls a 1-800 number and they
get an approval for the work to be done, and they use a Credit Card to pay directly to the shop that does the work.

They provide a certain amout for a Hotel and rental car. plus they cover more items than the Honda plan

Yes- That's the place! Harrisonburg VA - They also have a second Shop (I have not been to it) Same Owner in Roanoke VA

John sounds like a great deal. Obviously with my scoot being an '01, not looking for extended warranty, but after hearing some bad things about 3rd party warranties just curious. Again thanks for the information. Take care.

I bought my 12 - Level3 in september 12- Matched based price 22,500 (excluding ,TAX,TAG&Title) & Extended Warranty - saved me airfare to NC or out West

They will cut up a wing (trike it) Put a Trailer Hitch on a Wing and Now have added CAM-AM to the floor Stock and will stand behind Warranty Issue's should any arise.

Only First Class Honda Dealer on the East coast. IMOP
