  • Was at one of my local Honda dealers today.

This particular dealer tend to have more sand toys, Jet ski's, Dirt bike seeing we are within an hour of any type of outdoor sport that suits your fancy??

Not a wing in the place. Salesman says they choose toys that everyone want, and sell within a week or so.

Which makes sense. Why stock what doesn't sell?

So as I'm walking around I spot a couple rather unique bikes.

First up is this Electric bike with sand dune tires.

Comes with a Rack for my beer cooler. "That's what I'm talking about."

Then I see this bike from Yamaha.

Yamaha gives you not one But two charge ports included!!

So when I got home, I had to look up the spec's on this thing.

"Not interested in the Tilting Motor works" conversion just yet.

The Yamaha would be an addition to my collection.

    Dyno run.

    Articles on the bike.

I know of some nice technical roads I'd like to see how this Yamaha handles!!

Under 600 pounds,And talk about nice ground clearance.
Great dual purpose bike too. (Put some Knobby tires on it and have a blast.

My local Honda dealers dedicate maybe 10% of their showroom space to motorcycles. One Honda salesman told me that people come to their store to buy four wheelers and go to the Harley store to buy motorcycles.

And Goldwings? They might have one...maybe. 99% of the bikes on the open road in my area are not Honda and I am looked at like a Martian by other bikers.

Gizmo. I was disappointed in not seeing any wings there this visit. I wanted to take some measurements on the new bike.

This dealer has always changed out their displays every time I enter. (Which I think is Marketing for your customer base)

Signage on the building is just an indicator as to what they have a contract to sell. not that there is anything wrong with that?

Unlike Harley. You know what is in the building.

        That said.

Your point is dead on,on this visit.(This is what this dealer is pushing for sales)

I was curious as to what the service dept is servicing this time around. The lot says it all. (Not a wing in sight)

Yep, and that explains why the techs are so up to date on the new Wing.

No it's not at all. 9.27 here.

This a very good detailed video explanation with the front plastic off, looking at the articulation.

You can rent one of these in Stecoah, North Carolina, which is near the southern end of the Tail of the Dragon.https://wolfcreekrentals.us/motorcycle-fleet/ Wolf Creek Rental had a display at Bike Week in Daytona this year with one of the Yamaha Nikens on display. It's pretty freakin' awesome!
