I think the concern I'd have is what kind of power does this thing need to run - how long does it last, and what happens when the AC unit dies...does the lid become uncomfortable that any other helmet?

I couldn't find what it weighs?

      Anyone find that info?

No internal visor means, I'd be back to wearing sun glasses.

In the past, I would be concerned, but now that I'm getting really used to wearing my in-ear monitors, that's a non-issue.

How much does the helmet weigh?

The complete Feher ACH-1 helmet weighs 1450 grams +/- 30 grams. This is in the range of many high-end helmets

My Shoei Neotec (1st gen) in size large weighs ~1812 grams - not including the weight of the audio gear.

Roughly the same weight class as a Schuberth - known to be very lightweight.

Did you ever think, maybe we should just drive a damn car and be done with it?

I don't need or want AC at home, in a car or in a helmet unless temps are 115 or more, which I don't see real often.

I tried JB welding a “camper” style unit to my helmet... needless to say it was way to heavy and my extension cord was very limited when it came to distance.... so I looked at myself in the mirror and decided, IF I was going to ride a “motorcycle” I had to deal with the “elements” there was NO way around it.... and that is fine with me....
